I painted mine dark gray a few years ago, when I was working night shift and trying to sleep during the day in a bedroom facing west. It was primarily a practical choice, but it makes the room feel very cozy indeed.
Cave-like in a good way.

Large bedrooms can feel so daunting to furnish, I love your suggestions Casey! The moody paint color all around would be so cozy and how nice would it be to have that chaise chair to curl up in! I’ve always wanted a chair like that but never had the space!
